Assessment Tools
Biological
Medicine is the core philosophy of the care at Sojourns.
To choose to approach one's care and healing through
Biological Medicine means understanding that the symptoms
are not the disease and that potential for healing depends
on creating a healthy body, not on fighting symptoms.
To that end, we offer a variety of assessment tools
that are not readily available in allopathic clinics.
Sojourns‘ relationships with
outside labs and in-house facilities allow us to offer
the following Assessment tools in addition to standard
allopathic blood chemistries and functional lab tests:
- Live blood cell analysis (dark field microscopy):
looking at a drop of blood under a microscope to learn
how the cells interact, what kind of “load”
they are carrying, how their structure has adapted
to the internal environment.
- Computerized regulation thermography (CRT): evaluation
of the capacity of the body’s systems to respond
to temperature changes. A healthy body system can
react by regulating its temperature very precisely.
- Biological terrain assessment: measurement of the
pH, resistance and conductivity of blood, saliva and
urine to discover acid-base balance, trace mineral
status and oxidative stress levels.
- Applied kinesiology: using changes in skin resistance
or muscle tone response to evaluate diagnostic and
treatment protocols.
