Julia Perks


After serving as Sojourns' Board Administrator Julia joined Sojourns as the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer in April of 2014. Julia has a varied professional background, having worked for organizations as diverse as Bank of America, Sears & Roebuck, World Learning/SIT, and the Town of Brattleboro, in marketing, project management, and most recently doing administrative work.

Julia's personal interests are equally diverse. Julia is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute, has a certificate in Interior Redesign, is a ten-year student of Jin Shin Jyutsu, and helps support the Celtic Buddhist Lineage. In turn she is supported by her husband, John, and enjoys the company of their pug Effie, 15 chickens, and many honey bees on a small homestead in Saxtons River.
