Acupuncture
Acupuncture has been successfully used for thousands of years to treat a wide array of health conditions ranging from acute and chronic pain and trauma to headaches, digestive issues, reproductive concerns, complex chronic conditions, insomnia, fatigue, stress and psycho-emotional challenges, and everything in between. Treatment involves an integrative East Asian diagnosis followed by the insertion of fine needles at specific points on the body, and may also include techniques such as moxibustion, gua sha, cupping, herbal medicine, qigong, and Chinese dietary therapy. In addition to addressing particular health concerns, acupuncture also provides excellent preventative care to support balance and wellbeing. This safe, generally painless, therapy works well alongside other treatments, offering patients an integrative approach to their healthcare.
Sojourns offers both individual and community acupuncture.
