Our naturopaths and nurse practitioners provide person-centered, relationship-based primary care for patients of all ages. We offer comprehensive services that could address a wide range of health concerns. Our primary care approach emphasizes the needs and preferences of our patients. As part of Sojourns' integrative model, primary care coordinates seamlessly with our other services, offering patients truly holistic healthcare under one roof.

Susanne Booth

Naturopathic Medicine

  • Susanne joined Sojourns in fall 2011 and holds a Certificate in Midwifery, a Masters in Physical Therapy, and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. As a primary care provider, she enjoys caring for whole families and has several three-generation families in her practice. She finds joy in working with patients of all ages, especially preschoolers, and particularly loves supporting women through perimenopause and post-menopause. Outside of work, Susanne enjoys quilting, reading, spending time with family, and being in nature.

Kai Morrison

Naturopathic Medicine

  • Kai is a Naturopathic Physician who joined Sojourns in June 2021. She earned a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine. Kai provides primary care with a focus on pediatrics and family medicine, women's and trans health including trauma-informed pelvic exams, and consultations for endocrine, autoimmune, and digestive issues. She offers customized herbal formulas and has advanced certifications in Midwifery and Traditional Western Herbalism. Fluent in Spanish, Kai previously lived and practiced in Cusco, Peru and earned her BA in Latin American Studies from Brown University.

Jessica Pirkey

Naturopathic Medicine

  • Jessica joined Sojourns in November 2019 as a Naturopathic Physician. She holds a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and completed a post-graduate residency in Family Medicine. Jessica specializes in primary care, mood disorders, digestive health, women's health, and group-based lifestyle programs. A Certified Yoga Teacher trained in Ashtanga yoga, she integrates holistic approaches including nutrition, plant-based medicine, and mindfulness into patient care. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys hiking, foraging for wild mushrooms and medicinal herbs, practicing yoga, and exploring Vermont's natural beauty.

April Brumson

Nurse Practitioner

  • April is a Nurse Practitioner, Acupuncturist, and Chinese Herbalist who has been with Sojourns since 2005. She integrates diverse modalities to help patients manage chronic health conditions and improve their relationship with illness. April's background includes private practice, public health clinics focused on drug and alcohol detox and HIV/AIDS care, and community health centers. She graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture and got her master's in nursing from MGH Institute of Health Professions, with additional certifications in Swiss Biological Medicine and ongoing graduate training in Chinese Medicine. April speaks Portuguese and Spanish.

Maria Cabri

Nurse Practitioner

  • Maria joined Sojourns in March 2019 with more than 10 years of experience in advanced practice nursing. She holds a degree as an Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Before transitioning to primary care, she spent many years as a Certified Nurse Midwife, bringing a holistic perspective to patient care. Outside the clinic, she pursues her passions for pottery, gardening, hiking, and skiing, finding balance through creativity and time outdoors.

Nicole Langlois

Nurse Practitioner

  • Nicole joined Sojourns in April 2025 as a Family Nurse Practitioner, bringing 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She earned her MSN from Rivier University in 2024 and has studied as a Clinical Herbalist with Maria Noel Groves, integrating traditional and herbal knowledge into her practice. Nicole values community connection and enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, birding, reading, sewing, and practicing Muay Thai.

Tracy Hawse

Nurse Practitioner

  • Tracy Hawse is a Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing and certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP). She joined Sojourns in February 2026, bringing nearly seven years of NP experience and almost 28 years as a Registered Nurse. Tracy takes a holistic approach, integrating primary care and lifestyle medicine to support body, mind, and spirit. Her background includes trauma-informed care, polyvagal theory, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and Ayurvedic studies. Outside of work, she enjoys nature, hiking, cooking, traveling, and time with her dog, Tank.
